PRODUCT DETAILS

Due to its extremely soft texture and fluffy appearance, ISAGER Soft has become a highly appreciated yarn, which is why a similar, but finer, version was launched.

While ISAGER Soft is a tubular cotton yarn with alpaca fibers integrated, which can only be produced in a thicker gauge, ISAGER Soft Fine has a silk core, over which an alpaca and yak yarn is applied in a bouclé form. Finally, the yarn is brushed to achieve its fluffy and delicate texture.

Although the manufacturing process and fiber composition differ from ISAGER Soft, the two yarns have a very similar texture.

ISAGER Soft Fine contains yak wool, and the depth of its colors is due to the natural dark shade of this fiber, similar to how colors are obtained by combining white and black wool.

Its fineness can be compared to that of Silk Mohair yarn, but the knitting experience is completely different, especially when worked as a single strand. It is an incredibly soft yarn, which is why, within the ISAGER team, it is nicknamed "ISAGER cashmere".

SUSTAINABILITY

Care recommendations

Wool is best washed by hand. If you use a washing machine, choose only a very gentle wool programme, with lukewarm water (below 28°C).
To avoid felting, follow these recommendations:
- use a very small amount of detergent, specially made for wool.
- keep the water at the same temperature throughout washing and rinsing (max. 28°C).
- after rinsing, place the item in a wash bag and spin it gently in the machine.
- then lay the item flat on a towel and let it dry naturally.
Woollen items don't need washing often. Airing them outdoors is frequently enough, especially in damp weather.
Cotton yarns and blends containing linen or bamboo can be washed in lukewarm water, but we recommend the same care instructions as for wool.
