PRODUCT DETAILS
ISAGER Silk Mohair is a fine and fluffy yarn, made from 75% RMS-certified mohair and 25% silk. It stands out due to its light texture, delicate appearance, and elegant sheen.
It is most often used in combination with other yarns, to which it adds volume, softness, and a fluffy effect, but it can also be knitted on its own, especially in simple and minimalist designs. As it is a soft and airy yarn, it is normal for it to shed fibers slightly at first, but this effect diminishes with use. Thanks to its long and high-quality fibers, ISAGER Silk Mohair has a low pilling level.
The yarn is certified Responsible Mohair Standard (RMS), which guarantees adherence to strict standards regarding goat welfare, responsible land management, and fiber traceability throughout the entire production chain.

SUSTAINABILITY
Care recommendations
Wool is best washed by hand. If you use a washing machine, choose only a very gentle wool programme, with lukewarm water (below 28°C).
To avoid felting, follow these recommendations:
- use a very small amount of detergent, specially made for wool.
- keep the water at the same temperature throughout washing and rinsing (max. 28°C).
- after rinsing, place the item in a wash bag and spin it gently in the machine.
- then lay the item flat on a towel and let it dry naturally.
Woollen items don't need washing often. Airing them outdoors is frequently enough, especially in damp weather.
Cotton yarns and blends containing linen or bamboo can be washed in lukewarm water, but we recommend the same care instructions as for wool.
